So... Christmas Was Yesterday

Well, it's true, Christmas was yesterday. It didn't really take all that long for one year to pass. In fact, it feels like I just got done paying for last years Christmas presents before I was buying some for this year. That sucks.

Better news comes in the form of an email. Matt B. (from Summer Staff) sent me an email wondering how I was doing. I seem to be really bad at keeping up with people from Summer Staff or Work Crew. I might be able to keep in touch with some of my fellow 'Staffers' for a while, but we seem to just fall out of touch. To make things worse, it feels like it is my fault. Truth be told, I think it is both parities fault. I still wish it wouldn't happen.

Okay, I'm going to close this post because work starts soon and I need food.

A king size crush on a pint size queen

So, the party was much smaller this year than last year. I don't really know why. I do know that I enjoyed myself.

Scotty B showed up, that really surprised me. He doesn't really do the 'Christmas' thing. I respect that. Anyway, that aside, he brought his Wii out and let us play a little. That thing is just incredible. I can't wait until I get one. Tallon was so impressed that he gave Scottie money to buy one for him. That is good news for me.

When I said that I was done with all my Christmas shopping, I lied. I had two things left to get, something for Brad and Jess, and something for Colleen. I took care of both. Now I'm done, I promise.

Now comes the wrapping.

Words are unable to describe...

I just created a network in my home that shares an internet connection wirelessly. This means that I finally can get on the internet with my computer while at home.

Friday, December 15, 2006

Is it true?

I'M DONE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!

I'm also done with school the semester.

Thursday, December 14, 2006

Can I go now?

I think I have a new job. You have no idea how happy that makes me. I have grown to hate working for FedEx. My new job should be pretty cool, I would get to work with computers, Linux specifically. Anyway, I'm not spending a whole lot of time on my job situation.

Even more exciting than a new job is the prospect of directing a play at Boonsboro next semester. I had to act in one of the one act plays this semester, and that made me miss my one chance of directing so much that Bair might let me direct again. A full length play this time.

I need to move out.

I also need to finish my Christmas shopping.

Wow, I think I got distracted

It appears as though I have not updated my blog since I found out that I was able to see the one acts. As it turns out, not only am I able to see the one acts, I am in one of the one acts. It is kinda completed, but... well, not 'but'. I don't really feel like explaining it.

Even more important than than me acting in a play, I have an interview with Patton electronics. This could really be a big change in my life. A good change. One that would let me move out, get my own car and still go to school.

Oh, and as soon as I can afford one, I will be buying a Wii. I need a TV first though.

All I know is, there's a three legged dog looking at me

I need to brush up on some stuff

Well, first thing first: I got permission from FedEx to take off work on the 7th and 8th. That means that I can, in fact, see the one acts.

Secondly, I really have to pee, I'll be right back.

I am really poor. I used to think I was poor back in high school. I was wrong, I am really freakin' poor. Hopefully I will bet getting a new job soon. A job that would let me move out of my house... finally.

Going back to the one acts that Boonsboro is doing, I have been asked to set up the sound equipment. A fairly easy job, but the point is that I'm doing something.

I am really tired. I'm talkin' really, really tired. Think of the most tired looking person you have ever seen, you can make one up if you need too. I feel more tired that that imaginary person looks.

Now that's not fair...

A few short months ago I was desperate for a job. Now two of my friends have offered a rather nice job where they work. I guess I'll just have to apply both places and see what happens. They are polar opposite jobs, one is in IT and the other is working in the parts department of a car dealership. If I some how get both jobs, I think I'll go with the IT job. I think computers are more in my line of of work anyway. That and I would get to work with Linux fairly frequently. Those of you who remember my LiveJournal (this would be none of you) may remember I used to use Linux all the time. I don't want to install Linux on my Mac because I don't really have a very big hard drive.

Just for fun, this is a German hacker using Linux:

Thirteen

I just learned that I can embed YouTube videos in my blog. I'll prove it by showing you:

How cool is that?

I wonder if I can do it with other video services, such as Google Video. I'll find out later. For now this is good enough.

Cuban Cigar

Today I won Puerto Rico. I beat out Brad and Bair. I can't even remember the last time I won that game. It felt good.

Oh, and I might not be able to see the one acts perform because those days are blacked out at work. Maybe I should find a new job.

I'm going to bed. Goodnight.

I'm just so happy!

I just finished my first mission. I also just got my reward.

I was given three programs for free that I think I will actually use. I can't wait to try them out, but first I have to get food and go to work.

-Brian out

P.S.- yeah, I do know I'm a nerd.

The hype is killing me

So this Hubert thing is far deeper than I ever could have guessed. I think I got myself into a Mac style conspiracy. So far I have traced my first clue to two seperate websites. The first is one called MacHeist and the other is this. I have no idea what that means. MacHeist looks rather promising, but the other seems to be a long and hard game of hide and seek.

With MacHeist I have to perform tasks to get codes so I can unlock a safe. I don't know what is in the safe. I do know that the website is done in much the same way gmail was, very selective group by invite only. I did, however, manage to get in.

I am on the hunt for a program. I don't know what it is called. I don't know what it does. I don't know where to find it. I don't even know if it really exists, but I'm looking for it anyway.

I guess this is a modern, nerdy style quest.

I suck at money... ing

I have put off updating Quicken for a long time. As a result, I have no idea how much money I actually have. I plan on fixing that soon, maybe right after this post is done. Then again, I'm not one to do things like that.

I really don't want to talk about money right now.

I will be at Denny's tomorrow. I'll be tired, but I'll be there. It has been a long time (not counting last week) since I went to Denny's with the old crew. It's good to be back. I do miss sleeping in on Thursdays.

House music is weird.

Oh, I almost forgot. I finally finished that steadycam I said I was going to build. It is much bigger than the one Ryan(?) built. Almost three feet tall. It serves a different purpose then the smaller one Drama has.

I think I'm going to end this post for reasons not appropriate to put in my blog.

I miss food

Today was shaping up to really suck. It didn't, but that doesn't make me feel much better.

I also managed to get sidetracked for a long time. I was just trying to find out who Hubert is. There is a really big, and rather difficult game involved. I only have this clue so far.

That doesn't really give up too much info.

I thought I was going to write a nice long post about all kinds of stuff including, but not limited to: the weather, girls, other stuff, and stuff related to everything mentioned before.

Okay, this will be quick

So. Many. Podcasts.

I think HCC updated their wifi. For as long as I can remember accessing the iTunes music store was impossible. It always timed out. Now I have surfed the store enough to subscribe to numerous podcasts. Right now I'm downloading 352 podcasts. Well, episodes at least. Most of them are really small so they don't take long to complete. 349. See, they don't take long at all.

I am almost finished with the steadycam I'm building for Drama. I also would like to build a boom mic for them, but that is much more expensive. Well, it is more expensive if I want to do it right. I do, of course, want to do it right. I'll ask if Drama could help with the cost, or even just pay for the steadycam. If not, then they might not get a boom mic. They are improvising some now, a broom handle and some duct tape. If it is getting the job done I can't really tell them not to do it. I improvised far more 'standard' things when I was in Drama. Heck, I remember editing a film by pointing a camera at a TV and recording the parts I wanted in the order I wanted. Now they just use fancy computers.

Wow, I think I just made myself old. Maybe I should have ended that story with '... and I walked to school uphill both ways in the snow...'

Truth be told, Drama just didn't have the budget for such things back then. They didn't start actually making money from shows until my junior year or so. My senior year we did get a computer to do editing and such. That particular aspect of the class has evolved to be something much more than and short film lesson and project. Now there is talk of a class dedicated to only film.

Sometimes I feel like I was in high school at the wrong time.

Hindsight is 20/20. If I look back on my life, there are is a very large number of things I should have done, or not done. I'm not alone on that either.

Oh, today just so happens to be Halloween. It doesn't mean anything for me, but at least I remembered.

I'm done typing now.

I really want a Helio

If money wasn't stopping me I would have a Helio by now. It is very much overkill, but those thinks are really cool. They will even work around here because they are CDMA phones, Heilo partnered with Sprint, and to a lesser extent, Verizon. Too bad I'm poor.

Okay, here is a quick story about my computer. When I came home last night I plugged in my computer so I could do some book keeping, listen to some music and maybe play a game. Okay, I really wanted to play a game. When I went to listen to some music I only got sound out of the right speakers. Now, I had my computer plugged into some external speakers, so I assumed that the problem was with that setup. I'm far to 'cool' to have computer speakers, I have a 600 watt power amp paired with some nice speakers. The sound quality is great. But I digress. I started to check every wire that connects my computer to the power amp and then from the power amp to the speakers. I couldn't find anything wrong. Then I checked my computer. The left channel of my headphones jack wasn't putting out any sound. The left built-in speaker didn't work either. I finally gave up and called Apple to try and fix the problem. They told me that I would have to send in my computer. I would have to give them my computer for almost a week.

That is only the beginning. I think I could live without my computer for a week. I wouldn't want to, but I could. The rough part is that he (the tech support guy) told me to back up everything because they might wipe my drive and reinstall OS X. I freaked. I don't have any way of backing up my hard disk because I have been saving for a host powered external hard drive. I was planning on just finding one that would work and suffer with it.

I then had an epiphany. What if I accidentally changed a setting on my computer. I gave it a shot. In fact I had changed the balance slider to be as far right as it would go. I felt dumb. I still feel dumb. I called Apple back and told them I wasn't sending in my computer after all.

That was my morning, it was not fun.

I'm tired, so I'll make this quick.

I want to host a podcast
I'm building Drama a steadycam
I wish I could still do those film projects

-Brian out

P.S.- I don't wish I was in high school again, I'm glad I'm out. I do miss parts of it though, Drama mostly. I think I may be able to become more involved in the future, that should be the best of both worlds.

Who knew?

There are a bunch of paths in the woods behind HCC. I thought they would just be short things into clearing of some sort. Nope, they are really long. Numerous too, they kept on branching off.

How I found these paths is a completely different story. A beautiful story that I am not able to put into words on paper, or a website. Not because I don't want to tell the story but rather because I need to do so in person.

In an obvious attempt to change the subject, I will now talk about The O.C. Supertones.

I have loved the Supertones for quite some time. Yesterday, however, I got a new album from Tallon. Revenge Of The O.C. Supertones is by far the best one yet. It is also their newest one (I think). It is a shame that they broke up.

Thus endith postith the second...ith.

Is it too late?

Today I managed to get up almost an hour late. I then missed my first class because I got up an hour late. That sucks.

I also forgot to write my rough draft for English. I can't even think of what to write about.

Maybe I could write about CCD and CMOS. They are both sensor types for digital cameras. I don't really know too much about them. Comparing CDMA and GSM cell phone networks is also possibable. I run into the problem of keeping it interesting for both of them.

This shouldn't be the hard part.

I'll make an outline for both and write the one that will be easier.

Build a better breakfast

I don't really want to work two shifts today. I need the money though.

I could just skip, they would never know. Well, they would know, but they wouldn't care. As long as I'm there by seven, I'm good.

I also don't want to spend money on food. I don't really have a choice though. Actually, that is a lie. I could just not eat before work. Work would then suck more than usual.

Speaking of money, I got payed today. Direct deposit finally kicked in. I no longer have to rush out Saturday mornings to get money.

I'm tired, and soon to be late for work.

I am much less an idiot

Today I forgot that I had a paper to write for my English class. I did end up writing it, but I did so in class. I think I got lucky. I know I got lucky.

I also found out that tutoring is not going to cost anything. There is a pretty good chance that I won't get the 80% that I need, but I might come close enough to buy one last semester. On that note, I'm starting to look for apartments. I can't afford any of the ones I have seen. I need to figure this out though, if I don't then I will be homeless. I really don't want to be homeless.

To make matters worse, I still don't own a car. My parents said that I can buy the Corolla, but they won't give me an answer as to the cost. It's not that I just spring it on them either, I have asked several times over that last several months. That should be plenty of time to come up with a price for a car. I would just go buy one somewhere else, but I know this car and my parents will give me a far better deal than any other place in my price range. Plus, I can't afford cars from a dealership so I would have to buy a car from an individual person. That would add lots of unknowns.

Yesterday, when I tryed to call Nik! I learned that she now has a new phone number. Unfortunately I don't think I will get to talk to her anytime soon.

I just don't feel like typing anymore.

I wish I was in a rock band

Today in English class, my space pen ran out of ink. I have had that thing for about three years and it just now ran out of ink. Fortunately I have a spare cartridge in my car.

Podcasting is really cool. I haven't been able to access the iTunes music store, thus no podcasts. The other day, however, I subscribed to a few while over at Tallons house.

I'm also toying with the idea of moving out of my house. If I got a full-time job at FedEx I could afford to. I really could afford to if Tallon and I shared an apartment. The problem is that I wouldn't really have much time for school. I might be able to take a few classes, but not full-time. It might be worth it though, I really have to get out of my house.

Finally, my remote hose for my paintball gun is not broken. It just takes twenty shots to empty the hose of co2.

I'm going to go call Nik! about her baby. I haven't talked to her since she had it.

I don't work today! I just thought I should add that.

Mobile blogging won't work. I don't know why. I think it may have something to do with switching to Blogger beta. If it is, there is a simple solution to the problem, otherwise I'll just have to deal until I can get it fixed.

I think it's broken

I left my debit card in an ATM the other day. I didn't realize it until yesterday. Fortunately the bank got it first and called me about it. I still don't have it.

Oh, and I think my co2 hose doesn't work right. It is supposed to have an on/off knob, but it won't turn off. It isn't really a huge deal, but I wanted it to work right the first time. There is a chance that it does work, I'm just not letting enough co2 out. I hope that is the problem.

I think I'm done all I have to do here, I'm going to go get my debit card and then go to work.

Suddenly I see...

Yesterday I got my co2 hose and Halo in the mail. It is about freakin' time. I have been waiting for those things for a while. It would have been nice to have the co2 hose on Saturday, then I could have used it on Sunday. In the greater scheme of things, it doesn't matter at all. I still wanted it though. Also, I know I promised pictures of the whole remote system when I got it, but I haven't taken any pictures of it yet. As soon as I take pictures I will post them.

That being said, the system is really cool, I can't wait to use it on Sunday.

I know that I used to play Halo all the time, but that was on an XBox. Now I have to get used to the game on a computer. This is rather frustrating because I feel as though I should know what I'm doing, all the levels feel the same, actually the levels are the same. With time I'm sure I will get the hang of it.

Halo runs great on my Mac, this was my biggest fear.

Oh, and I'm still an idiot, and this probably won't change much next time either. If it does, you will be the first to know.

I am an idiot, trust me on this one

On Friday I had a photography paper due. I was planning on writing it the day before, but I got distracted and never got around to it. Then I tryed to write it that night, but it was really late so I didn't really get much done. As it stands I did in fact get the paper done. Done on time. I wrote most of it in class. I think the point I'm trying to make is that I'm freakin' awesome.

Tallon and I went to play paintball at a field yesterday. I didn't really think that it would be as much fun as it was. I was expecting it to be cool, I wasn't expecting it to be cool enough that I want to go back more often.

And then there is Toby's. That is this Friday. I don't even know what show they are doing, but I can't wait. Speaking of which, I need to call Mr. Bair.

I'm going to go take care of that.

Bad news

Blogger just informed me that their audiobloging service is no longer going to work. The few audio blog posts I have made will still be there, and will as long as I keep the blog, but I can't make more. This is disheartening. I think I will get over it.

It is still stupid.

I'm bored

I have stuff to do. Or at least stuff that I could do. I'm not really doing anything right now. I would like to watch the new episode of Red vs. Blue, but it is only for sponsors right now. I am far to cheap to be a sponsor. That paper for my photography class could be written, but it will wait. I just don't feel like doing it right now. It should be pretty easy.

I'm still waiting on four packages to come in the mail, or whatever carrier they shipped with. I was hoping to get at least one of them last week. Alas, no, they are making me wait. Halo is what I'm really waiting for. I can't wait to play that again. Plus there are a couple of new maps on the multiplayer, I'm really looking forward to that.

I'm also waiting on a remote coil hose for my paintball gun. Tallon also got one and it made his gun work much better. His response trigger now works very easily. It is now frighting to be on the business end of that thing. Fortunately I can shoot just as fast, I just have to work harder to do so.

I would love to have some coffee right now. I think the Grill has coffee.

Well, right now I should just be in bed. My mom spent about a half hour looking for a picture of Janet Jackson new album. Now I just want to sleep.

Right now I'm waiting for several packages. My keyboard, a co2 hose and a bottle holder. I soon will be waiting for Halo as well. Yes, I did at one point give up playing Halo, but now I'm going to get back into it. I blame Tallon. I have been playing Warcraft with Tallon for a while, but we get our butts kicked so often we want to play a game that we might have a chance in. That game is Halo.

Now I'm going to bed.

I am really freakin' tired. I just didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I still wish I was in bed. I'm not interested in going to class today, or work for that matter. Unfortunately I have to do both. I guess that's life.

Google turned eight today. It is hard to believe that a huge company like Google is only eight, but it is true. Google has done a lot in eight years, and has done a great job at all of it.

Anyway, I think I'm going to buy Halo on Friday. It will probably take two weeks to get to me, but that's okay. I still can't believe that Warcraft is so hard for me. It should be the same as Starcraft, but its not.

I wish I had an iPod.

It can't really be that hard

Well, I've been trying to get a new screw for paintball gun. I don't want to have to get an allen wrench to put on or take off the stock. As it turns out the screw is metric and thus, much harder to find. I have found the right size and a place to buy it, but they don't exactly work for what I want. Stupid metric.

Actually, I prefer metric. (base 10 rocks!)

I called Apple today to find out when I will freakin' get my keyboard. They said that it would ship on Friday. I have been waiting for weeks for that thing to show up.

Oh, and I now have a remote coil hose and bottle holder for my paintball gun. I don't have to keep my co2 tank on the gun anymore. I will post pictures of that as soon as I get it in the mail.

The pictures are mostly because I can now that I have a digital camera. Not because I feel like the world really needs to know what that looks like.

I also suck at Warcraft. So does Tallon. We can't even double team the easy computer and win. Heck, the easy computer kicks out butt, it isn't even a fair fight. I think we are going to move into the realm of Halo though. That I am very excited about. I love Halo. Actually, I love video games. I think I can control my love this time though.

Okay, that is enough for today, bye.

As of right now, I'm wasting time. I need to finish my paper for English and I'm still sitting here messing around with the computer. I'm sure I will get it done. I always do.

I did in fact get a remote hose for my paintball gun, I believe that it has some features I wasn't expecting. Hold on for a sec while I check. Yeah, it has an on/off valve and a quick release. I didn't think it was going to have either. I guess that is cool.

Well, I'm at a loss for words and I really need to get to writing. Bye.

I think I want some food

Okay, well I just found out that it may be very affordable for me to run my CO2 from a remote line. The bottle holder is only seven or so dollars. I'm still trying to find a hose that isn't $40. Back when the bottle holder was to expensive I could find a million hoses for cheap, now it is flipped. I guess I'll figure it out some how, or not run remote CO2.

My computer is very dirty. I just noticed that. I probably won't ever clean it back to the bright white, but I may remove the dust sometime.

Oh, and I wrote a paper today. So far all my essays have been on computers in some way. I don't really think I am that much of a nerd, I just know a good bit about them so I can write a decent essay without much effort. I wanted to write about bikes.

Stupid computers... taking over my life.

Well, I'm getting pretty hungry. I think I'm going to call this post quits.

I feel like poo

Okay, first things first. I feel like crap. I didn't want to get up this morning. I don't want to be up now. I really don't want to go to work. None of that matters though because I did get up, I am still up and I have to go to work. At least I'm not pulling two shifts today like I normally would be on Friday.

There are good things to report though. I got my new camera last night. This thing is freakin' awesome. I even enjoy just holding it. I also learned how to audioblog yesterday. It's pretty cool. I actually call my (mobile) blog and it posts an mp3 of that recording. I'm not really sure how useful that is, but it is cool. I guess when I think about it I don't even need a blog at all. Much less a blog that I update with only my cell phone. The real truth is that I just want one. The good thing about blogging is that it is free. I don't have to spend anything to act upon those wants.

Some wants that I harbor do cost a lot of money. For example, I wanted a digital camera. I bought a digital camera, it was expensive. I also want an iPod. I don't have an iPod yet, but I plan on buying one soon. Well, maybe not very soon, but within a few months (I hope).

I also just started a game of chess with Dan. Dan is in Rhode Island. I have heard of people playing games of chess through the mail and I thought that this was a perfect time to try.

Well, I was going to say more, but the ache came back and I'm getting hungry. I think it may be time for me to go. I can assure you that I will be back at some point. But for now, I'm gone.

Waiting sucks.

I was on the phone with Apple for about two hours today. All I had to do was tell them that my keyboard was no longer turning on. How can that take two hours you say? Well I'll tell you, holding. I spent only ten or so minutes talking to a person, the rest was listening to hold music. Holding sucks. On the bright side they are sending me a new keyboard. This process has taken me about two weeks to complete because their customer service center is only open from 6am to 6pm. I was not willing to use 120 minutes of my cell phone just to do that. I am just glad it's over.

Recently I noticed that even though I have made no efforts to update my blog every day, it has happened (for the most part). Even though writing a blurb about my day is pretty easy to do I still feel kinda proud of that. I also have been using my mobile blog much more. I still don't really see how it is vastly different than just writing my thoughts down and posting later, but I like it. I might even like it more than this blog.

Quick thought-
I love iTunes 7.0
I'm getting my new camera today (or tomorrow)
iPhoto still rocks my socks off
I want to play Warcraft

Oh, on the topic of Warcraft, when I play against the computer in multiplayer (easy setting because I'm a n00b) it kicks my butt every time. I can't even fathom how it is able to produce that many units that fast, much less on easy setting. Maybe I'm just that bad.

The other side of it is that Tallon has the same problem. Even if we team up against an easy computer we both get totally owned. I just don't get it.

I kick butt in Starcraft, why is Warcraft so different?

Well, that is enough news for today, I'm going to try to figure out how to fill my car and stomach up with only a five-dollar bill. This will require all my cunning...

The hard drive is 50!

Yup, 50 years ago today the first hard drive was completed. It was the size of two refrigerators and could hold a whopping five megabytes. How cool is that?

Okay, so if anyone does read this, they know that I keep a blog updated only with my cell phone. When I got a new phone the mobile updating thing just stopped. I couldn't figure out why. As it turns out I put a '.' where there should have been a '@'. Oh well.

I still haven't fixed my keyboard. I really hope Apple just tells me to mail it back and they will give me a new one. As much as I love my iBook, I hate always using the built-in keyboard. Now that I bought Warcraft (from Tallon) the problem is magnified. I don't think wanting to comfortably tell my orcs to attack is to much to ask. Maybe it is. I'll find out sometime soon though, I'm calling Apple on Thursday.

Okay, I have stuff to do.

I'm poor.

Well, I did in fact buy a fairly nice digital camera, but I didn't like it. So, today I returned it and bought a new one. A much more expensive new one. I think I doubled the price. Oh, well...

On much more random news, I really am enjoying my English class. I thought I would hate it, but getting the chance to write and have somebody tell me how good of a job I did is pretty cool. I'm not 'can't wait to go to class' excited, but I don't hate it, a vast improvement over every other semester of college.

Okay, back to the camera thing, iPhoto is freakin' awesome. I tried the included software and could tell right away that it was not going to be any good. I then opened iPhoto... and fell in love. It just works in a way that makes sense.

Okay, I think I just ran out of stuff to say.

Who the heck is the 'Gipper'?

Well, I finally did my first full shift at FedEx, it was about all I expected it to be. I think this will be a good job, at least I am really hoping it will be. If not, then at least it is a job.

Oh, here is some disheartening news, my keyboard broke the other day, it just won't turn on. Apple isn't really open when I'm able to call them, so this may take a while to fix. Fortunately my mouse still works and my iBook has a built in keyboard.
/end bad news

Well, it has been a long time since I can say I have really played video games, but recently I have gotten into games made by Blizzard. At first this was only because they were the only cheap games I could get for a Mac, but now I just think they are great. I've been playing Diablo II and Starcraft for a while. If you haven't ever played either, do so. I don't have Warcraft III yet, but soon I will be buying it.

That is about all I have for now because I have an assortment of things to do, I still don't think anyone is reading this, but that is okay.

It's been a long time...

Wow, I think it has been more than two months, yeah, about two and a half.

Well, a lot has changed since then, I no longer want to join the military, I am back at school. I still don't really know what I'm going to do with the rest of my life. I can only hope that is sorta normal for a 21 year old. Probably not too usual, most people are about to graduate, or already have by the time they are 21. I'm still working on a community college.

Speaking of which, I now have class.

If anyone does read this: Peace.

Back in the swing of things

Okay, I have been able to hit the gym this week (it opened back up), I am really out of shape.

I also just realized how late I am.

I gotta run.

But.... I wanted to run...

Okay, so I finally get early enough to hit the gym, and it is closed. I use the gym at my school and they are using it for graduations.

What the poo? I wanted to run.

Oh, well... it will be open again next week, I can run then.

I have to pee

Okay, I'm going to make this short because as the title states, I have to pee.

I finally played paintball yesterday with a bunch of friends, it was freakin' awesome! The flatline really does make the ball go farther, a lot farther.

I went shopping with my Mom today, we looked at a couple of beds and random desks, stuff like that.

Okay, bye!

I have 133 reasons that say you should...

I just sold my books and got about $130, that is freakin' sweet! I really need the money right now.

I did actually get the game 'Brain Age'. It is a little different than most other games, but that is because it isn't really a game, it is an exercise program for your brain. I think it might actually be working (I hope) or it is a cleverly disguised game that I am just getting better at playing.

Well, as much as I might have to say right now, I can't. I have other things to do today besides blogging.

Oh, one last thing, I finally got around to creating my profile and links, so check them out if your interested.

-Brian out, again (but this time I mean it)

Quiet Please, Students at Work

I just watched the 'Baby got Book' video, one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time.

School is almost over for me, I have one more final tomorrow and then I am done for a long time. I also get to start training for the Marines soon, four or so hours every morning. My hopes are to lose some weight, and build muscle. I really don't want to go into the PT side of boot camp, I would like to just go through the 13 weeks and be done.

I haven't played paintball in almost a month, that kinda sucks. I have my own paintball field now, that really doesn't suck. I'm hoping to play every week (or more) over the summer. Money might become a problem with that because the paintballs I have to use are 50 bucks a case (2000 count) as opposed to the 35 bucks I was expecting to pay. It's only because I use a flatline barrel, if I use cheaper balls they will break, or just fly any way they feel like (read: not where I want them to go). I guess $15 isn't really all that bad, but I really was hoping this would be a cheap sport.

Oh, I bought a video game recently, Lost Magic, it is surprisingly hard but amazingly fun. I'm hoping that I enjoy it but not so much as to let it take over my life. I don't think that will happen, but I said that about Halo, right before Halo took over my life. I'm also thinking about getting Brain Age, it looks like it might actually live up to it's claims of making you smarter. I would like to be smarter. Also, I would like to train my brain just as much as my body before boot camp. This might not be the right way, but at least I'm thing about it.

Anyhoo, I really have to be going now.

-Brian out.

I DID IT!

I wrote my reasearch paper for bio in three and one half hours! There was even time left over to take a nice walk (it is a beautiful day) and update my blog.

-Brian

Choices....

Okay, I'm not exactly failing any classes right now, I just need to pick whick one I pass, the rest I will fail. I have a project for my computer class due soon and a bio paper due today, if I do the project I will pass the class, but then I can't write the paper or go to my theatere class. That means I will fail those. Or I can write the paper and still miss theatere class and blow off the computer project, thus passing bio.

When did life get so hard?

Well, I've made my decison and need to finish my paper, but after that my summer starts.

I need to start writing more positave posts.

I freakin' hate school

I have yet again screwed myself over with the school thing. I only ever attended one math class all semister (read- 0%) and now I think I'm failing my theatere class.

I'M FAILING MY FREAKIN' THEATERE CLASS!!!!

How can I fail a theatere class?

For about five years my life was theatere, now I'm failing it. Way to go me...

My life is kinda falling apart and I don't feel like there is anything I can do about it.
/end 'poor me' rant

In other much more exciting news, I should be getting my paintball gun in the mail soon and I might have some prospects with a girl. I'm expecting the paintball gun to be flippin' sweet, but trying not to expect too much from the girl, I really don't think I could take a let down like that right now.

Well, I guess this ends another post

The First One... Again...

Well, the last time I kept a blog was with LiveJournal back at UMBC. That kinda didn't go very well. I'm going to try again because keeping a blog is relaxing in a way. This time around there will be no promises of daily updating or any of that jazz.

I am in class right now so I should get back to paying attention or something like that.

type at you later,
Brian
