50 Terabyte USB thumb drive (no, really, I'm not kidding)

A prototype USB drive using bug protein to store data in the neighborhood of around 50 terabytes worth of data could be here in less then 18 months.

actually, it is 1000 gigabytes

I couldn't tell you why someone would need 50,000 gigabytes. I can tell you that people said the same thing about 1 (one) gigabyte drives.

"What am I going to do with that huge one gig drive?!?!?!"

wow, I just keep bugging you here. Anyway, the fishing derby is this Saturday and I know you helped with it last year (well you helped YL give away snacks, now that I think about it, we had Starbucks coffee, I don't know where we're getting coffee). Anyway, Jess was asking if anyone wanted to help so I thought I'd tell you just in case you weren't doing anything. It's this Saturday from 8 until noonish. ttyl
